The Brief: Announce the Sorare x English Premier League partnership to the world. How? With revolutionary Premier League card designs and a TV spot to get the community excited.

Key deliverables: A hero film, product tutorial film, Premier League NFT Card designs, and creative toolkit for scalable content creation.

The Product: A free-to-play, social, fantasy Premier League football game where the top players in the world rank up on the leaderboards with the chance to win cash, ETH, and tickets to Premier League matches.

My Role: As the ECD and DRI of the Premier League launch campaign, my role was to architect and set forth the entire brand vision. Working closely with the Premier League and cross-functional partners I led a team of over 50+ team members to drive forth this epic partnership announcement.

Insight: For love of the game

Nothing beats the bond that football provides. Inspired by the unique communities, subcultures, and friendships that make the game so special, we crafted a film to announce Sorare’s partnership with one of the world’s biggest and most exciting competitions: The Premier League.

Idea: Welcome to the House of Sorare

Taking place in a sports bar like no other, the House of Sorare, the film follows the story of Alex and his journey to the top of the Sorare fantasy league leaderboard and celebrates the joy, dedication, and spirit that unites football fans the world over.

EDUCATIONAL PROMPTS

Visual cues were introduced for users to understand the steps you need to take to onboard into Sorare.

Collectability and ownership make Sorare unique. The limited card [featured] is the first entry point to owning an NFT

Introduce 5-player line ups vs. traditional 11 v 11 fantasy football

Introduce the marketplace and leaderboards with a cameo from Fabrizio Romano

Influencer cameo speaking directly to young prospects relevant to Sorare gameplay

As you rank up in the leaderboard, top players win exclusive rewards like match tickets, NFTs, and experiences with one of Sorare’s partners
